We know that a bit of advance information is always helpful, so here's what you need to know.

When and where does the church meet?

Join us on Sundays at 10am for either Holy Communion or our Rejoice@10 service.

The church is usually open 1pm-3pm on Sundays. You are welcome to come in to have a look around, or for quiet personal prayer.

Our mid-week Holy Communion service is on Tuesdays at 9.30 a.m. Refreshments are served after the service, with time for a chat.

For more details see: Services at St Mary's

We meet at: St Mary the Virgin Church, Church Lane, Beighton, (sat-nav postcode S20 1EJ)

You can find a map on our How to find us page.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome and friendly faces. We are a congregation currently of usually around 20-30 people.

Please feel free to sit wherever you like. We try to explain everything during the services, but do feel free to ask someone if you're not sure.

We have a mix of traditional and contemporary Christian music, there will be prayers for ourselves, the church and the world, and there will be a talk (sermon) of around 10-15 minutes.

Tea, coffee, biscuits (and occasionally cake!) are served after the service, with time for a chat.

What happens to the kids at church?

Children are welcome, and can sit with you. There is no separate structured kids' church at either Rejoice@10 or Holy Communion.

There are baby changing facilities available in the church building and the church is accessible for pushchairs/prams.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes. Jeans are fine.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all! You are free to simply sit and listen, or join in as much as you like. We don't mind either way!

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?
